Sprout Pharmaceuticals

Case Study

Addyi is the first FDA-approved treatment for Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD) in premenopausal women. The project involved a complete redevelopment of Addyi.com (consumer-facing) and AddyiHCP.com (provider-facing) to modernize the web experience, improve accessibility, and enhance performance across devices.

Objectives:

  • Rebuild both websites for modern performance and maintainability
  • Deliver fully responsive layouts optimized for mobile and tablet
  • Improve site accessibility and compliance with WCAG standards
  • Integrate with analytics and CRM tools for marketing insights

Key Steps Included:

  • Translating complex Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive code
  • Implementing modular components for content reusability
  • Ensuring accessibility and SEO best practices
  • Coordinating deployment and quality assurance with backend teams

Approach:

Working closely with the client design team and agency strategy team, I developed both sites from the ground up using modern front-end architecture. Each site was optimized for fast loading, cross-browser consistency, and seamless content management.

Results:

  • Dramatically improved page load and Core Web Vitals scores
  • Streamlined authoring workflow for content teams
  • Enhanced UX for both patient and HCP audiences
  • Successful on-time launch of both Addyi.com and AddyiHCP.com

Tech Stack:

HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript, with performance-focused architecture integrated into a CMS-driven backend via WordPress implementation.
